Cuddlies Vs. Aliens gets two new levels to show off some sweet mechanics.


As we work towards the full game’s content, we are constantly reworking and fine tuning the game mechanics.

Though it may not seem like it, judging from how little the game has changed visually, we went over a huge refactor on how moving entities are handling, which has opened up a whole new level of opportunities.

Though we are still slowly chipping away at the game, adding more content and exploring cool new mechanics to elevate the gameplay experience, we figured it would be a good time share some of the work that was done.

The demo has been updated to show a few new levels. We also updated some of the towers and enemies; let’s see if you can spot the change.

We are also planning weekly rolling releases (maybe we ought to change the name from “Demo” to “early access” given this new direction).

Here is a sneak peek of what you can expect in the coming weeks until launch:

  • Many different types of enemies with unique abilities.
  • More varied attack types, with damage multipliers and resistances.
  • 12 levels telling the story of an alien invasion through the changing environment.
  • A wiki with information on aliens and cuddlies.
